Satin Steel: Revenge of the Black Cat (Cuo ti zhui ji zu he / Fox Hunter, 1995)

German Cargo Records Numbered DVD edition 441/500 - region 2

Trashy and B but enjoyable Female Fighting Crime Action
and with gorgeous
Jade Leung as Police Inspector Yeung Leung on a mission to Singapore to help
catching an international baddie, the american weapons dealer Fowler.

Jade Leung - often seen in nasty and sleazy Cat. III films during the 1990's as
the 1997 "Peeping Tom" is probably most famous for her roles in the
Hyperkinetic crime-action classics "Black Cat" 1991 and "Black Cat 2" 1993
where she kicked some ass in the role as a pro killer. I actually liked these HK
B ripoffs of Nikita better than the French original, but that's me and i'm crazy.

Police inspector Leung is sent on an Interpol mission, by US request, to
Singapore to help with the hunting down of a weapons dealer syndicate, with
american Fowler as the boss. She's met by the local cop, Ellen (Anita Lee)
who's going to be her Singaporian partner, and as comic relief (even though
Ellen's whiney boyfriend Paul is somewhat annoying).
From Singapore the hunt goes on to Indonesia where the weapon dealers Bad
Guys are about to have a secret meeting. Russell Wong plays the crooked
lawyer Ken Chan.

The film is presented in anamorphic widescreen 1.85:1 with an English audio
dub DD 2.0, trailer only as extra
