OK, i bought this bluray film because of Jennifer Connelly.
She was 19 years old when
shooting this film and had entered her Goddess phase of beauty.
But this Dennis Hopper directed film is a very fine Neo Film Noir well
worth buying
even without Jennifer in it, and it's Virginia Madsen as the Femme Fatale
who's the
most lively actor in the film and she steals every scene she's in.
Don Johnson and Jennifer Connelly are good too though,
Don as the drifter Madox
and Jennifer Connelly as the naive angelic girl, small town beauty Gloria.
Don Johnson's Madox drives through a southern small
town and decides to stay for
a while when he sees opportunities arise. He gets a job as a car salesman
and meets
Gloria who's working there too, for Harshaw Finance. "You're very
pretty" he says ....
Yes, you could say that i guess. Madox also meets his bosses beautiful
and sultry
wife, Dolly Harshaw and both women, Gloria and Mrs. Harshaw eyes the
new car
salesman with hunger (yes, Don Johnson was a good looking guy).

The Hot women interests Madox but what interests him
the most is the lockal Hick
bank and how he's gonna rob it.
Dolly Harshaw is an annoying but beautiful floozie and
she needs Madox for Sex
and for killing her husband. Gloria Harper is an angelic and naive 19
year old.
Connelly was 19 also when shooting the film, and Johnson was 41.
The film is presented in 1.85:1 widescreen with English
audio and subtitles, and
it's Region A only. Extras:
Audio commentary by Bryan Reesman (well prepared and packed with info),
Interview with Virginia Madsen (7 minutes)
Interview with William Sadler (6 minutes), Trailer and trailers other
films
There's a great soundtrack by i.a. Miles Davis and John
Lee Hooker (interesting
combo)
