Ruggero Deodato R.I.P. 7/5 1939 - 29/12 2022
With an unusual plot about a very rare disease and about aging and dying
this film is
a giallo-horror-tragedy and with the make-up playing a big role. I liked
the film and I
especially enjoyed the quirky performance from Donald Pleasance as Police
Inspector
Datti, he's always a personal favourite for me.
However, Ruggero Deodato didn't like this film and that's a little strange
compared to
how bad his other films were at this time in his filmmaking.
Soundtrack made by Pino Donaggio.
