More can be read about this film further down on this Gialli Page 2 in the US Scorpion
Releasing text. The reason I feature this film for the second time is because of the
cool cover with Chiara Caselli playing the Harp and I wanted to know if I liked it as
much as the last time I watched it, some 5 years ago.
And I did, even if Non Ho Sonno is in a downward spiral all since the beginning with
the impressive Train Murder scene. I Love Max von Sydow and I think "Non Ho
Sonno / Sleepless / Insomnio" is his best film since the 1987 "Opera".

This film belongs to Max von Sydow who plays the old retired crime inspector Ulisse
Moretti
, who lives alone with his parrot Marcello and suffers from early dementia.
In 1983 he investigated the Dwarf Murders and where supposedly Vincenzo, the
killer later has died. At the Turin crime-scene in 1983 Moretti promised the son of
the victim, Giacomo Gallo (Stefano Dionisi) that he would find the killer.
So, when the killings start again in 2000 it must be a Copy-Cat killer or due to the fact
that Vincenzo The Serial Killer must still be alive.

Who Dun It? Grown Giacomo Gallo and Ulisse Moretti meets again and becomes
the sleuthing duo in this film. What does the Dwarf Killer Vicenzo's mother (Rosella
Falk) and Giacomo's friends Gloria (Chiara Caselli) or Lorenzo (Roberto Zibetti) have
to say about it?

The Train Murder scene at the beginning of the film involves a prostitute, Angela
(Barbara Lerici) and her friend Amanda, and this set-piece is both frightening and
brilliantly made. It could be the last Cinematographic brilliance of Argento's career,
together with the first 20 minutes of his 2021 Dark Glasses maybe?
But, in the Worm's-Eye View scene at the Theatre: Who would use a Hoover in the
corridor during an on-going concert ?
