A Spanish crime mystery and maybe a Giallo when Marta's husband Carlos (Hugo
Blanco) is away on a business trip and she's left alone (with the Cat).
Marta (Carmen Sevilla) gets bored after a while and starts looking at and listening to
her neigbours. Above her lives Julia (Patty "Blue-Eyes" Sheppard) and Marta can hear
her and her husbandVictor's footsteps, but when she asks Julia about Victor she says
that Victor is on a business trip too and that no-one besides her are there.

Marta is nosy and bored and starts fantasize about The Mystery of the Steps, is Julia
having a Lover ? And, even worse, if so, could they have murdered Victor ?
Marta starts sleuthing, who could the lover, if there is a lover, be ? Is it Marta's land
-lord, Ricardo (Dean Selmier) or is it the creepy and aggressive grocery delivery
guy, Pedro ? Yes, the plot slightly resembles "Rear Window" by Alfred Hitchcock.

with Amanda Plummer and Saskia Reeves. A terrifying Love Story with a scary
and hypnotic Plummer as a mentally ill serial killer. A very unpleasant watch
and at first I was angry, then I was fascinated. She gets into your head.

Dark Fairytale drama with luscious colors and with an often experimental style
about twin sisters Victorie and Klára - both roles played by Iva Janzurova.
Beautiful costumes and also Iva Janzurova made this a fascinating watch
and probably the last film emanating from "The Czech Spring"
