Halloween (2007) and Halloween 2 (2009)

US Alliance Blu-Ray edition

Rob Zombie, that showed us some fresh ideas for the "new" horror film, or at least some enthusiasm, with his first two films
"House of 1000 Corpses" in 2003 and "The Devil's Rejects" in 2005 when the horror movie genre was in a severely dire
condition after the awful 1990's and it's crappy comedy-horror abominations, was here given the task of shooting a re-make
John Carpenter's 1978 slasher classic.

Rob Zombie's 2007 Halloween however was liked by only a few with lots of awful acting and with a weak script from Zombie
plus unsure directing. The 2009 Sequel "Halloween 2" is only marginally better. It's a pity as Zombie showed some, if not
talent, some enthusiasm and good spirits when making his 1st and 2nd film.
