Golden Harvest Vol. 1 Supernatural Shockers

Sex and Zen / Erotic Ghost Story / Erotic Ghost Story 2 / Erotic Ghost Story 3 /
Doctor Vampire / Robotrix

US Shout! Studios - Shout Factory 6 film 6 disc 3-case Blu-ray edition - Region A

Case 1 Disc 1 - Sex and Zen (1991) Direction Michael Mak, Production: Johnny Mak

Classic Category III sexploitation. Fun, vulgar and slick looking Sex Comedy Drama
based on the Chinese 15th century novel Yo Pu Tuan (Carnal Prayer Mat / The Prayer
Mat of Flesh) by Chao Meng Fu. This is a reasonably high budgeted production and
it looks great, and with the busty Cat. III legend Amy Yip Chi Mei in it.

(Esoteric fact: In an earlier text on the HK Classics page about the 2010 DVD edition
I stated that this film was Amy Yip's only completely nude role, and I was wrong as
Amy manages to hide her nipples also in this film. Maybe she was sensitive about
doing implants and wanted to hide the scars ?)

Sex obsessed Wei Yang Cai (Lawrence Ng) marries frigid Yuk Heung/Qi Yan (Amy
Yip) who's beautiful but afraid of having sex. He hires the thief Kun-Lun (Lo Lieh) to
find as many women as possible to have sex with.
But, Wei Yang Cai is worried about his small dick and asks a doctor, Tin-Chan, for help.
The doctor, after some hilarious commotion now transplants a horse dick onto Wei.
Meantime, the gardener (Elvis Tsui) has sex with Amy Yip and sells her to a brothel.

Case 2 Disc 4 - Erotic Ghost Story 3 (1992) Direction Lan Nai Kai/Lam Nai-Choi
Cinematography Billy Wong

My favourite in the Trio, a crazy and delightfully demented softcore action and
a Ghost Story with some Monsters and Cannibalism added.
There are different sources of info regarding the names of the actors and their
role names and I'm unsure about it but perhaps something like this:

A man, Chu Chung (Kenny Tak-Bun Wong) and a woman, Hsia-Hui (Pauline Bao
Lian Chan) takes refuge for the night in a deserted house. Where they meet the
Reverend Wick (Shing Fui-On), a strange monk that has the ability to shrink
his body size and other magic powers.

The Monk protects the wick of an oil lamp and has the power of sending them
into a magic dimension filled with pleasure. But there's a witch too and the Three
Vixens appear again with i.a. Rena Otomi and Chik King-Man as Liu See-See.

PLEASE READ Lots more about this gem on my Hong Kong Classics page

OK, THIS IS IT !! This may be the Ultimate category III film - An Absolute
Psychotronic Masterpiece with everything that makes the life worth living for
a film geek. Comedy, Sci-Fi action, Sleaze with a big S and Female Fighting, and ....
with the Living Cat. III Legend - Amy Yip in top form, plus japanese goddess
Chikako Aoyama and the forgotten Taiwanese celebrity Hsu Hsiao Dan in one
of her very few HK films.

Film presented in widescreen 1.85:1 and cantonese audio DTS-HD MA mono
with english subtitles. Extras:
Audio commentary with Calum Waddell and Andrew Fleming. Quite awful and
with constant spewing of neocon propaganda all through the film. The worst
I have ever heard of unwanted political stuff to a non-political movie. Avoid.
