End Game (Ren chao xiong yong, 2021)

Hong Kong Vicol Entertainment Ltd. Blu-ray edition - Region A

Funny action comedy with nowadays legendary Hong Kong actor (and singer)
Andy Lau who today is still going strong in his 5th decennia and who's reached
an important position in Chinese cinema, mainland and Hong Kong. He acts in
a lot of films and he also produces films.

I love Andy Lau as he's such a versatile actor. He works well, i.a. in a comedy
action like this film - the 2021 "End Game". The film is a re-make of a popular
South Korean film where a shift of identities take place between 2 men.

Andy Lau plays the professional killer X, a man with many identities.
He's ice cold, rich and evil, but when he visits a bath house he has a bad
fall and wakes up with a case of Amnesia and taken to the hospital..
Another visitor to the bath house observes the accident. He's Chen Xiaomeng
(played by funny mainland actor Xiao Yang) and he's a loser, an out-of work
actor who even failed committing suicide when his hanging rope broke.

Chen uses X locker key, steals the money there and switches the clothes. He
finds even more money in X car (which he also steals), he pays off his many
debtors and he moves into X luxurious apartment.
Chen Xiaomeng adapts the name Zhou Quan (one of X identities) and he has
successfully taken the opportunity to switch lives with X.

X wakes up at the hospital with amnesia and he don't anything about his life.
He only knows from his ID (left by Chen with the scrappy clothes) that he's
an actor named Chen Xiaomeng and that he's living in a dirty apartment.
One good thing though is that a generous and gorgeous nurse (Wan Qian)
helps him with money and care.
With amnesia X (the second Chen Xiaomeng) is pleasant and mildmannered

What will happen when the first Chen Xiaomeng realizes that criminals
want him to murder people, for real, or when the 2nd Chen Xiaomeng wakes
up from his amnesia ?
