A very entertaining crime-psycho-drama thriller with
3 of my favourite Bollywood actors together, the under-
rated and nowadays forgotten Akshaye Khanna, the
nowadays not forgotten star Ajay Devgan and then,
i guess
soon to be forgotten, honey babe Urmila Matondkar,
a talented actress and an exquisite dancer.
The star lawyer Raj Goyal (Khanna) meets and falls
in love with the popular singer Sargam (Urmila) but when she
begs him to defend the arrested and suspected for murder musician
Taran Bhardway (Devgan) then his whole
law career is put at risk.
The producer heavy Mehta has been brutally murdered, and this we get
to see in a surprisingly brutal splatter way,
and the childhood friend of Sargam Taran has been found with bloody
clothes on him in the vicinity of the crime
scene. Is Taran really the murderer ? Ta -ta -ta -ta -ta -ta -ram
..... Fanfare - and yes, now it's time for the ...
Bollywood Court-room scene, a much
beloved ingredient to many a Bollywood film, and there's a twist a-coming.
The Brits left some usable things, as the court system with it's filmic
court-room procedure and the sport Cricket.
anamorphic widescreen with hindi 5.1 audio with english
subtitles, 169 minutes.
The US DVD of this film from Spark was below par and it played on
my dvd player, but just just ... I guess it will
freeze on some other player and there's a high probability of disc
rot occuring too i guess
