I had never heard about this Canadian
horror but it was good and with fine acting.
Especially Brad Dourif as Remo the painter and Lindsay Dunkan as the
Doctor
surgeon Agatha Webb were impressive and Jeff Fahey was OK too.
The Gore effects were good and the Car Crash scene was also impressive
for
a limited budget. The Canadian Toronto Cronenbergian light is always
nice.
Bill Crushank (Jeff Fahey) works as a psychologist,
he teaches students and he
writes a thesis, and then there's an accident. A Car crash where he
barely survives
and loses his arm. Bill's wife Karen (Kim Delaney) says yes when the
surgeon
Agatha Webb (Dunkan) offers a new human arm.
But why are there armed guards in the operation room ? Why is there
a tattoo
only seen on Death Row prisoners ? Who did the arm belong to before
?
Dr. Webb assures Bill that the arm is his now and that it can't do anything
that he doesn't want it to do ...
