This could well be the greatest Gladiator movie ever made. What could possibly Stanley Kubrick's 1960 "Spartacus"
or Ridley Scott's 2000 "Gladiator" do to compete with Female Gladiators as Pam Grier and Margaret Markov fighting
it out on the arena ? Two strong and fit goddesses with Pam as nubian slave Mamawi equipped with a trident and a
net, and Margaret as Celtic priestess Bodicia and carrying a sword.
A Cinematic female buddy couple made out in Heaven and a reprise of their coupling in "Black Mama, White Mama".

Very entertaining mixture of Women in Prison sexploitation, Sword & Sandal and Gladiator action, and with the fine
cinematography from legendary Aristide Massaccesi AKA Joe D'Amato giving the ongoings a lush quality to it.

The Celticpriestess Bodicia (Markov) and the Nubian dancer Mamawi (Grier) at two different parts of the Roman
Empire are captured by Roman soldiers and finally sold at a slave market in southern Italy (in Brindisium, Brindisi).
An owner of gladiators and an arena buy them for doing waitress work at the arena and to having sex with the
gladiators. But, he needs something new to lure the paying spectators in, and that is Female Gladiators fighting
to the death.

Pam is re-united with Margaret Markov (who can forget Black Mama, White Mama?) what an amazing couple.
Pam looks strong as an Ox, wow, she should've made more action films.

This DVD unfortunately presented the film in a badly cropped 4:3 fullscreen version, and with english mono audio
Extras were a Trailer, biographies, interview with legendary B movie producer Roger Corman

Note: This great film has been released in a much better anamorphic widescreen transfer. Please read about it
