The Great Damiano Damiani with another fine but dark crime drama thriller about Sicily
and the people living there and always in looming shadow of fear from the Mafia.

This film takes place in Palermo where Palermo's most "eminent" car thief, but now an
ex-car thief, Nino Peralta (Giuliano Gemma) runs his own food stall. He pays protection
money to the local mobster Capuana, but there's a mob war going on and he's killed
off by another mob gang led by "the lawyer". Now they wonder which side Nino is on?

A friend and kiosk assistant to Nino, Colicchia (Tano Cimarosa), warns Nino that a
Hitman (Michele Placido) has been asking questions about him. Is Nino about to be
killed, and why ? Due to his stall being close to Capuana's den ?

Film presented in 1.85:1 and with italian mono audio with english subtitles, region A
