A surprise South Korean blockbuster HIT comedy-melodrama with veteran
actress Na Moon-hee in top form as a
really grumpy old ldy in her 70's - Oh Mal-soon. She lives with her
son, 2 grand-children and daughter in law Ae-ja
(played by the unforgettable Hwang Jeong-min from Save the Green Planet).
Foul-mouthed Oh Mal-soon is not a very good woman, but she's good at
singing, which she does at a Senior citizen
café where she has an admirer in an old man.
Oh Mal-soon also likes filmstar Audrey Hepburn and after
visiting a magic camera studio she turns into 20 year old
cutie Oh Doo-ri (Shim Eun-kyung) who cuts her hair and dresses like
Hepburn. But at the inside she's still old granny
and she's still foul-mouthed and grumpy.
Oh Mal-soon's relatives are worried about the disappearance of granny
but young Oh starts singing in her grandchilds
rock band and has decided to enjoy her new youth at the fullest.
An entertaining film with comedy and melodrama and with
fine performances from the lady duo.
Presented in anamorphic widescreen and with a korean audio DD 5.1 or
DTS HD MA with english subtitles
