A somewhat odd and interesting indie martial arts action drama-comedy
that was met with some interest when released.
The film starts with the main role person, Surya
(Abhimanyu Dassani) narrating how it went
when he was born, and how
his mother died, but the narration isn't very truthful though.
Surya suffers from the very rare medical condition "Congenital
insensitivity to Pain" and should've been dead already as a
kid, but his grandfather (Mahesh Manjrekar) showed him old martial arts
VHS tapes and teached him of how to live with
his condition. Surya watched the old tapes and especially the one's with
the one-legged karate master (Gulshan Devaiah)
and he trained hard to become a Karate Man himself.
His best friend as a child was the girl Supri
(Radhika Madan) and he wanted to beat up her drunken father who abused
her, but then they lost contact (she disappeared) and didn't see each
other for many years.

Surya vs. Bad Guys
Surya growns up despite his medical condition and he finally
becomes The Karate Man, and he wants his revenge on the
men that caused his mothers death. One day he sees a girl kicking down
a group of men, and she's grown-up Supri.
As a kid she was found on the street by the One-Legged Karate man and
he took care of her and trained her in the martial
arts. One-Leg has a martial arts school and plans to hold a Tournament,
but he's harassed by his gangster brother Jimmy
(Gulshan Devaiah in a double role) and his brutal underlings.
Will Supri leave her boring and nasty husband and will
she, Surya and One-Leg Master fight against Jimmy and his boys ?
