Crime drama where the robber Nick (Victor Mature) is caught
by the police and is offered a deal, to rat on his crime-buddies.
He refuses at first but when he hears that his wife has committed suicide and
that his sidekick had an erotic affair with her,
then he changes his mind. Now, enters one of the most famous psychopathic gangsters
ever, or infamous perhaps, the Hit-man
Tommy Udo (Richard Widmark) and in a scandalous scene he kicks
an old lady in a wheelchair down the stairs.
Widmark became typecasted for years after this performance as the giggling maniac.
The film was presented in 4:3 fullscreen original ratio, black
