OK, normally i HATE fantasy films, i hate stinking hobbits,
orchs and farting dwarfs and i've never have had a thing for Peplum
films
either, with bodybuilders showing off their stupid bulging muscles.
And, 1982 Conan the Barbarian with Arnold Schwarzenegger didn't
interest me much even though i read the comic magazine as a boy. That's
fantasy and action and i'm bored.
BUT, if the Conan film was a B movie, Deathstalker is
a C movie, and yes, with fantasy and action in it but also filled to
the brim with
violence, gore and BOOBS. A Fantasy Action Adventure Comedy with tons
of this stuff .... and with Barbi Benton in it .... and Lana
Clarkson. Just lovely. Delightful prime trash filmed in Argentina and
the filmmakers doesn't take it seriously at all. Great fun !

Richard "Rick" Hill as Deathstalker and
Lana Clarkson as Kaira

The Pig and Barbi Benton - the Playboy legend and
proud carrier of the 8th and 9th wonders of the world
A Blonde swordsman with a lot of muscles, The Deathstalker
(Rick Hill) kills alot of ugly Orch looking men and saves a girl.
An old witch is nagging about the castle being occupied by a new brutal
leader, Munkar (Bernard Erhard), about a sword and an
amulet to get the power bla bla yada yada Zzzzzzz .....
Deathstalker has to kill Munkar and free the kidnapped princess (Barbi
Benton) and on this quest he's joined by swordswoman
Kaira (Lana Clarkson), a blonde amazon with big breasts, and Oghris,
another swordsman on his way to the castle (played very
badly but enthusiastically by british Richard Brooks (Jason Voorhees
in Friday the 13th part 3).
Lana Clarkson made such an impression that she later returned on film
as the Barbarian Queen.

The Green eyes of Barbi
All the swordsmen and fighters in the kingdom are invited
by evil King Munkar to a Tournament where the winner becomes his
heir to the kingdom .... or not, maybe it's a trap to kill all his enemies
in one blow ? Let the tournament begin!
And YES .... the most important question can hereby
be answered - Barbi do show her wonders, Thank God! Praise the Lord.
But somewhat briefly, you have to be alert for the money shots. Yes,
yes, i'm obsessed with Barbi i know, i can't help it, sorry.

About Barbie Benton, the singer (taken from my review
of the X-Ray/Hospital Massacre blu-ray):
Ain't That Just the Way - from the
popular TV series McCloud 1970-1977 with Dennis Weaver. Barbi appeared
in and sung this
in the season 6 episode Park Avenue Pirates, and everyone here (in Sweden)
loved her and the song became a no.1 Hit

The 8th and 9th Wonders of the World and in
the Hall of Fame of Topless scenes (more from my X-Ray text
i bluray-kvalitens
Yes, it's true and there's a reason she was a legendary
Playboy Playmate, and the girlfriend of Hugh Hefner for some 6-7 years

The even worse sequel ? (I haven't seen it)
with the 1980's screamqueen, model and
later porn actress, the beautiful Monique Gabrielle
This delightful trashy sleazebomb with lots of Gladiator
type of fighting and nude women was directed by Sbardelli under
the alias John Watson, and Richard Hill is actually pretty OK as an
actor in the main role, the rest ... eeeh, no comments.
The film (the blu-ray) is presented in widescreen 1.85:1 and with an
english audio DTS-HD MA 2.0. Blu-ray is region B and
the DVD region 2. Limited 1500 copies edition and with a cool retro
looking thick sleeve
Extras: A Booklet with text in German, an original trailer and a picture
gallery
